What is Guava?

Guava is the travel app for travel planners. More specifically, Guava is the all-in-one travel superapp built to make it as easy as possible to plan, book, and manage your next great trip from idea to itinerary. Our mission is to deliver the most enjoyable travel experience on the planet by taking the complexity out of travel and giving you the tools to make your next trip the trip of a lifetime.

Since we are just starting out, Guava is primarily a flexible flight finder. Ultimately though Guava is a tool built for you, the heroes making trips happen. That means that we're counting on you to answer this question as much as we're counting on ourselves to make that a reality. In the spirit of that, please abuse the the 'Feedback' button you will find at the bottom of every page to tell us what what works, what does not, and what is missing that would help you plan less and travel more.

What can Guava do?

Eventually, everything. Right now, it helps you more easily find the perfect flight for you when you are flexible about where you want to go or when you want to get there. Guava lets you specify different travel scenarios of dates and locations, then slice, dice, and filter the results in any way that's useful to you. No more open tabs in Google Flights, no more price surprises, no more complexity. Just better flights faster.

We're also working to simplify the entire transportation booking process. By signing up, you can link your airline loyalty programs and see loyalty-member flights by default. You'll be able to save preferred locations and filters, making it easy to find the flights you want. Plus, soon you'll be able to speed up checkout by automatically loading your travel details.

Who is Guava for?

In short, You. In a more narrow sense Guava is currently most helpful for budget-conscious, detail-oriented travelers and travel planners with flexible schedules. The types of travelers who use Google Docs, Excel spreadsheets, groupchats, and notepads to figure out what they'll book, where they'll go, when they'll get there, and who they'll go with. The reason we started there is because we are those travelers and we thought we deserved better. We think you deserve better too.

Why should I use Guava?

Any seasoned traveler or travel agent will tell you that the more flexible you are with your plans, the better the deal you'll find. Flexibility can be the difference between affording three trips every year or one trip every three years and any amount of it can help. Guava lets you turn your flexibility into a superpower in a way no other existing platform does. The end results is hopefully more people affording more travel more often, which we think is a good thing.
